These are one of Kyle's favorites, especially with the addition of white chocolate chips.
3/4 c shortening
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2 t vanilla
1 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t cinnamon
1/4 t salt
2-3/4 c oats (either quick or old-fashioned)
1 c sweetened dried cranberries
1 c chopped nuts or white chocolate chips (optional)
